The Connecticut Swallowing Center

Realizing that no such program exists in Connecticut, Dr. Bradford Chervin, principal of Ear, Nose & Throat, Allergy & Facial Plastic Surgery Specialists, LLC and Rehabilitation Associates, Inc. formed the Connecticut Swallowing Center. The Center offers comprehensive services. Bringing the evaluating team together with the treatment professionals is an efficient and medically sound practice to optimize the patient’s improvement. Information about each patient is reviewed by all members of the team and a treatment protocol is devised quickly. Progress is consistently monitored and the patient can be reevaluated by the original diagnostic team if necessary. Adjustments to treatment can then be made efficiently. The team is made up of an Otolaryngologist, Speech-Language Pathologists, Nurses and a Registered Dietitian.
